I honestly don't think it's very hard to reproduce. Take 10 asymmetrical objects that has the center of gravity a bit off the center of the support and I think it's more likely that not that you'll see at least one rotate slowly in response to vibration. Moreover it seem very odd that the Egyptians would design a statue with this property. Due to scarcity of flexible building materials it was not very likely to be subjected to vibrations, and even if it was it seem meaningless and impractical.
