  1. So you're saying, more people are verbally abused for being fat, so the skinny ones shouldn't complain? I don't think that makes a difference to the psychology of the individual. It hurts just as bad.

  2. She's not that fucking skinny. It's just they way she's portayed in the photo. If they added some tan and gave her a more energetic posture and facial expression, no one would have complained.

  3. Let's not assume that as a consequence of meeting fashion industry's definition of beauty, skinny women are all confident and strong individuals who can easily brush off whatever verbal abuse. To have someone assure you that you're unattractive and that they're disgusted by your appearence hurts regardless of body type. It's not ok.
