  1. It is interesting how different gamers are viewed from athletes. Athletes who defy fatigue to the point of collapse or death are awed, not pitied. That social life, personal hygiene, health and bodily needs are secondary to the activity is viewed as a display of passion, determination, dedication and discipline, not as symptoms of a severe addiction, failure in life or lacking responsibility.
