  1. I believe your "room" lies somewhere in between your awareness of your own mistake and her lack of awareness of hers. Letting her know that she made the same mistake as you is not necessarily hypocritical.

Let me see, squeezing the most out of the one life I have been granted, or wasting it fantasizing about a next? ;) If we define morality as the minimization of harm and maximization of happiness, the christian way has plenty of room for improvement. It's only when we apply divine morality i.e. "do what god says" that a christian is necessarily more moral than a non-christian.
