A dog don't have a soul according to christianity, right? So according to you, it does not have experiances, and it does not understand anything besides the material things are made from? Then how come I can trick my dog into beliving I've got treat in my palm? Let me propose a hypothesis: My dog have had previous experiances, in which I kept treat in my palm, and gave it to him. He recognized my gestures and created a conception of the treat in his mind. Does this mean dogs have souls too?

No. Value is in the eye of the beholder. Things don't have absolute values. It's a human concept. Each of us has a unique set of experiances, memories, personality traits, conceptions, conclusions, skills, etc. When we die, all of this is erazed, along with our unwritten future. We are social creatures. We are interdependent. We are human beings. Atheism does not take away from the beauty of the world, more the contrary.

Getting a grip of reality by looking out through the keyhole of a church is not an easy task. I'm sorry but you need to open that gate and step outside in order to understand what I ment.

If you don't know what a soul is, why would you belive in it? I'm sorry if my questions makes you uncomfortable, but if you hold the truth, investigating the matter deeper should only strengthen your case.

Then tell me what a soul is!

There are as many versions of christianity as there are christians. Do you think your views are even remotely close to the views the very first christians had? Were they not real christians? If so, why would the real christians show up almost two centuries later in a capitalistic empire on a different continent? What makes your version the real one?

This would be a whole lot simpler if you gave me your exact definition of "soul". Calling it God's entity does not help one bit.

Religion/Sect/Cult... whatever. It's all the same. The later are just used by larger religions to discredit the smaller ones.

You are yet to describe what a soul is. Asserting that all life has some of it does not help. You've given hints that it involves morality, intelligence, and self awareness. But it's still a very vague discription that can be interpreted in a lot of ways. And I still find it compatible with us being "biological machines". Please be more specific.
