I can relate to your frustration. It's a tough task to argue against racism, and it would be extremely convenient if studies on the differences in measured IQ between blacks and whites in the US concluded that there was no significant difference, or that the studies that stated otherwise were unreliable, but this is simply not the case. Disqualifying information solely "because wikipedia" seem more like a cheap excuse for ignorance derived from confirmation bias than anything else. [continues]

It appears that I was arrogant to say I understand your frustration. Thank you for sharing your encounters with racism. I too have been doubting the productiveness in debating racists. However, through some introspection I've come to the understanding that I'm not much better than them at admitting when I am wrong, but this does not mean that I don't take in the opponent's argument, or that my position does not evolve. It's just my ego circumventing defeat in order to justify its arrogance.

Instead of denying that there is a difference in measured IQ you could for example argue that this correlation is in no way evidence that this difference is genetic. Many blacks in America grow up in a completely different context than many whites, subjected to different environmental factors; or you could argue that IQ as a measure of what they define as intelligence is highly controversial among scientists as it covers a portion of it.

Put your rant in context. Your equivalence has been around in every empire throughout history, looking down on the rest of their world from your temporary vantage point, completely ignorant of the underlying forces that got you there, thinking to yourself "obviously I'm just better than them, so screw them".
