  2. If the purpose of the study had been to compare male violence against women and female violence against men, this had been due critique. However the scope of the research is clearly male violence against women, and the goal was to gain deeper understanding of the drivers behind it. Unless asking women and men the exact same question would help understand the drivers behind male violence against women, it is simply not called for.
