  1. In Sweden it's the same: Pimps and sex purchasers are criminals, not prostitutes. Since you're acting so confused about this I thought I'd clearify. Prostitution here is closely associated with human trafficking. This have lead to the perception that the pimp is the seller, while the prostitute is viewed as an involuntary participant. I'd say this view is becoming a bit obsolete, but this is (I think) how this law came about.

  3. In other words, you should have no problem with protected sex... apart from "wasted resources". I wouldn't say it's wasted though. The downside of porn is that it remains fantasy and you miss out on other aspects like intimacy, authenticity, etc.
