  2. Would you apply the same principle to ethnicity, religion, wealth, etc. ? The diversity within each gender is too large to legislate based on the averages. Equal rights does not mean having the exact same rights. It means judging people based on their actual qualities and not the average of their gender.

  5. I was only objecting to the assertion that currently available statistics prove affiliation to Islam means an increased chance of committing rape. I don't doubt your personal experiances, but I realize that other Islamic countries may be different to yours, and suspect you haven't visited enough of them to make a fair judgement. But I can be wrong.

  6. That they are "more likely" to commit a crime does not mean they make up a "great deal" of the total number. Also, BRÅ's report "Brottslighet bland personer födda i Sverige och i utlandet" (Criminality among persons born in Sweden and abroad) does not categorize based on religion, but on geographical origin, and I doubt you'll find any reliable report on the matter that do.

The only conclusion I derived from the statistics was that they do NOT imply a correlation between rate of rape and Islam. I never mentioned "Iran". Ironically, the country is not even in the statistics. I did take the possibility of unreported rapes into account, as well as differences in definiton, which both are supporting my conclusion.

  13. One can not draw conclusions from data that does not exist. Considering the data unreliable for comparison would reduce the likelyhood of any conclusion, not increase it.
