  3. billy bob No, that isn't even possible to infer from my comment no matter how you stretch it. My point was that the level of care they grant a tragedy has little to do with actual human death or suffering, but how much it can be exploited in favor of their political agenda.

  4. When TYT and people in this comment section talk about "the conservatives" we mostly talk about the stereotype embodied and perpetuated by FOX News. Of course there are also reasonable and moderate conservatives out there, but these aren't the ones the critique is aimed at, so they shouldn't be offended.

  7. Erica Davis Wow, you are really all over the place. Whether guns caused Sandy Hook or not is fucking irrelevant. The point was that in cases like Sandy Hook (only an example) conservatives are not really that concerned with finding a cause or solution to the problem and are rather quick to move on to the next story. However, in cases like Bengazi (an example), where there's opportunity to blame the opposition or otherwise gain politically, they go batshit fucking crazy, growling talking points in choir, demanding immediate and thorough investigations into exactly who did exactly what wrong, and this continued for month after month after month. This is the only point I was making. I was not planning to go into the details of either case.

  10. Thug Stopping Pro In all honesty, I am not enough updated on the matter to have a strong opinion, and I don't really have time to do the required research right now. This is mostly because US is not my home country so it doesn't really affect me. You on the other hand, who seem to deeply care about the issue and believe the problem have a direct negative impact on your life, you should strive to get hold of the most accurate information and improve your understanding.
