  2. We obviously have different definitions of "Ape". I've carefully explained that what I mean by "Ape" is the superfamily hominoidea. This discussion will not progress unless you do the same.

Look up "Hominoid" or "Hominoidea" on Wikipedia and you will be referred to an article about "Apes" where it is explained how taxonomy and the meaning of the term have evolved over time as DNA evidence have been pouring in, demoting Humans from a special position, to be just another branch under the superfamily Hominoidea, which is often referred to as "Apes". This only logical since Humans are also considered part of the family "hominidae" also known as the "Great Apes".
