  2. He said you deserve those 18% in your monthly salary. Why should you rely on people's goodwill whileas your employer has a guaranteed share of every served meal? Since you're apparently not in position to demand this from your employer, he suggests you join a union to make a coordinated effort to do so. This is exactly what unions are for: to empower the powerless, a counterforce against the employers, to improve your situation. If you choose take this as an insult, that's your own fault.

  3. Fuck you Brooks Bonkoski. I like TYT for their diversity, not for their unanimousity. I like that they speak their actual oppinion and not what is expected or desired of them.

  4. Yeah, it's just bullshit to make waiters/waitresses salaries rely on good-will. In Sweden tipping is not very common, but in more expensive restaurants it's accepted (not expected) as an expression of satisfaction.

  5. Mandatory tipping is fucking bullshit. If it's gonna be mandatory they should include it in the price listed in the menu.
