What the fuck are you talking about? I'm not being apologetic. I'm trying to understand why people gravitate towards fascism in Greece. That's why I drew a historical parallell to the Nazis, which rise to power is thoroghly documented and analyzed. The first step in solving a problem is UNDERSTANDING THE FUCKING PROBLEM! I'm not gonna dehumanize the Greeks because people like you are too weak-minded to admit that you and I are not that much different.

Locking people up for unpopular thought and expression? No thank you. I'm not making excuses. Come the day they start burning synagogues, bombing refugee shelter, or plan to do so, then by all means lock them up. That however is only the acute treatment of the symptome. To treat the disease or prevent its' reoccurrence you'd have to dig deeper and find the cause.

The Nazis didn't go broke, because they confiscated all their property and forced them to work for nothing. Don't underestimate fascism.

Is it not true that in Germany's post-WWI economic crisis, a certain conspiracy theory gained popularity: that Germany had not really lost the war, but had been betrayed by certain groups of people on the home front? Is it not true that this conspiracy theory was a frequent element in Hitler's speaches which were recieved with applause by the germans?

Scarcity is the true test of character. Their economy went crap, and they've been humiliated while the world was watching. Of course they are desperate for a scapegoat to save their pride. Just like germany was after WW1.
