  1. Slurpon Muhdick No, they didn't. US bailed out their banks, invested in stimulation packages, and devalued the dollar. Greece did neither (because they couldn't). Instead they were told they were careless, wasteful and lazy and were urged to cut spending on social services. This is why U.S. recovered fairly quickly from the crash while-as Greece along with much of the euro zone is still struggling.

  2. Slurpon Muhdick The idea is that you don't keep a lot of money just lying around but invest it in something useful or profitable. Buy shares, goods, property, invest it in your business, or lend it out at an interest to someone who will. Your options are many. I don't see why inflation is such a big problem to you. Deflation is far worse, and inflation keeps money flowing, reduces debt and stimulates export.

I take the products of the scheme and reward you as I promised. There, wealth created from nothing. Magical isn't it. ;) What creates the wealth is of course not the act of printing money, but the productive activities it stimulates.
