Mark Blyth's work has aged really well.

@RetroDawn Yes.

Turns out unaccountable organizations attract scum. How surprising.
1
Advice for John Kerry: instead of "building consensus" around your issues, try building solutions to issues for which there is already consensus.
1
Saget's timing wasn't as great.
1
Peter Theil had some interesting perspectives on technology and innovation, then he become paranoid about the violent uprising of the poor, disappeared from the public eye, and started building a system of total surveillance.
1
I didn't have to. It's just horrible.
1
Those Soviet-era biolabs must be really dirty considering it takes over three decades to clean the up.
1
Calls for a "holistic perspective" seems to be a narrative designed to avoid empiricism. They want the problem to be so overwhelming that any tangible details and grounding in observation is lost in a storm of big shitty data thereby becoming subject to their personal interpretation. Physicists gave good reason to carefully isolate variables from one another.

Complex music has not gone away, trust me. It just doesn't get spotlight, so you have to actively look for it.
1
I wonder when the General Director of BBC, Tim Davie, will agree to be interviewed by Elon.
1
Hey, don't be so hard on Biden. It's not easy being a middle-manager, facing pressure both from above and below.
1
I just realized Defund and Defend are almost the same word.
1
@garycallihan4206 And surgeons.
1
@666chinchilla Sure, except I wasn't slaughtered. Wearing mask on a few occasions was a minor inconvenience. I'll stand my ground when it matters.
1
You are wrong because... I disagree.
1
So I guess bye bye 4-day working week for France.
1
Tear gas irritates the respiratory tract and is known to leave subjects more susceptible to respiratory diseases. Some say it wouldn't be very appropriate to use during a pandemic which causes respiratory failure.
1
"I paid mouth service to your narrative during my campaign. How is that not enough? Greedy bastards!"
1
Can you do anything but sigh in disappointment and hopelessness at the crowd waving signs saying "BLACK WOMEN for WARREN", "BLACK VOTERS for WARREN" and "WOMEN for WARREN"? Can we have an election about ideas?
1
Turns out censor is a lot of work. Let's crowdsource it!
1
Most people who's judgement I trust believe earth is warming and that a significant part of that is man-made. On the other hand, they don't believe this is a significant threat that justifies great rehaul of society. It is a slow change and there will be plenty of time to adapt.
1
Anonymous victims accuse Russel Brand of sexual assault. News: WE MUST BELIEVE THEM. Seymour Hersh describes how Biden administration was the driving force behind the sabotage of the Nordstream 2 pipeline, relying on anonymous sources. News: WE MUST NOT BELIEVE THEM.
1
"We have to invest in security again, as we used to." Hmm this sounds familiar. When did Europe have an arms race last time and how did that end? That's right: WORLD WARS
1
Anyone can ask questions, but no one can ask some questions. Fake freedom.
1
Establishment news has declared war on misinformation, and then they play along with a story like this., Definitely misdirection. Let's keep our eyes on what the elites are trying to smuggle in while people are distracted.
1
You like transparency? Alright, let's start by freeing Julian Assange, Edward Snowden and other champions of transparency.
1
Regarding aspiration... I read that the shoulder muscle generally lacks blood vessels large enough for aspiration to work (they collapse under vacuum, preventing blood from going into the syringe). For the same reason, injection into this muscle is very unlikely to go directly into the blood stream. I would like John Campbell to adress this.
1
It starts to make sense why Fauci's salary is so high.
1
Trump is going to take democracy away from the establishment.
1
My impression is Dave applaud the pursuit for transgender rights, but he disagree about their methods, i.e. word policing and mob justice on social media.
1
The market enriched tech giants based on how effectively they make people watch ads. How the fuck do they think they're qualified to throttle freedom of speech?
1
I read a bit about the Digital Services Act. As far as I understand it does not say anything about what content is allowed or not. It is a legal framework for holding digital media providers responsible for removal of illegal content (and for unjust removal of legal content). In other words, we need to keep our eyes on any changes proposed to free speech laws hereafter.
1
Well, what free market advocates would say is that another store will soon open to satisfy the demand Kroger neglected.
1
From a free market point of view: These are all private companies, so they should be allowed to ban InfoWars if they so please. From a more balanced mixed economy perspective: Social Media play too important of a role in the democratic process to do as they please. These companies should act within a framework set up by government, which should include the principle of not suppressing free speech.
1
Is Hillary incompetent or evil? Clearly she knows what's up, so pure evil.
1
One part of me says "why not?" Other side of me says "ew!"
1
RFK Jr promised Trump to produce measurable improvement in public health in two years. He will hopefully intervene if these cuts interfere with his objective.
1
Trump voices on The View? Maybe they should finally rebrand as "The Views"
1
Cops seem to believe a search warrant means a complete suspension of your rights. What are your rights during a search warrant?
1
Her worldview correlates with Russian narrative. Ok. Is she wrong though? Isn't this more relevant to address?
1
Wow, so Jimmy Dore is now officially a far-right fascist racist. Feels weird.
1
Thanks for the notice, following Jackson on Rumble now. A ban is the best kind of advertisement nowadays. Update: alright, he has fair critique, but is also a bit over-the-top.

Graham Fuller, a formerly important figure in CIA, says that while CIA is involved in a lot of covert operations, all of them are at the order of the president. According to him, CIA is not supposed to advice the president what to do, but rather inform him/her what is happening, and follow presidential orders. However, he has noted significant politization of CIA after 9/11. A loophole in their job description is that they could in principle influence presidential decisions indirectly by shaping the president's worldview. A synic would say that the most propagandized person in USA may be the president.
1
@linanicolia1363 You assume that they are rational and democratic.
1
The only thing I don't agree with is that both sides want a buffer. I have seen no indications that US or EU wants a neutral Ukraine, besides a few brave voices. They clearly want to absorb it.
1
The only common denominator among Trump's political views is that they are self-serving. So it is not a surprise to me that he was pro-corporate and free-market as the head of a private company and dives right into socialism and fascism as head of a state. The man is without principles!
1
This is bullshit. If the guy doesn't use the platform to push any problematic ideas, what the fuck is the harm of platforming him?
1
Great news! They can't blame him for not trying to work with them. Well, I guess they can, because truth doesn't matter to DNC.
1
The accent sound so obviously fake haha!
