  1. To be fair, in the videos the citizens running over cops were doing so at higher speed than cops running over citizens. Yet, this nuance is in no way enough to explain the stark contrast in DeBlasio's response. In one case, he feels its ok to publically assume that it was done in malice and in the other case he asks people to wait for the results of an internal investigation.
