  1. This is horrible, yes, but there is also something funny about people having so low expectations of cops and the legal system that they broke into the station, kidnapped the arrested, performed their own investigation, and punished those they found guilty.

  2. I imagine false rumors being spread about people to turn the mob against them. I imagine innocents scapegoats, tortured to death and left on display in the street. Sounds like a real utopia.
