  2. ...but why? Gifts, christmas tree, mistletoe, decoration, the food, costumes, candy, etc. nothing of it have much to do with the jesus story. It's rather traditions than rituals or worship.

  3. Oh you're so cynical. Consumption is good, not only for your government, but for people's businesses. And you can celebrate christmas without presents. Just meeting up with friends and/or family and have a good time, eating good food, or whatever.
