  2.  @boaz2816  Yes, I agree. Sometimes intuition isn't the best guide. A typical analogy is our perception of colors. We can trick our brain to perceive any visible wavelength of EM radiation using only three discrete wavelengths, as exploited in RGB displays. The reason is our perception of colors is based on the relative activation of only three receptors, each of which responds to a certain overlapping range of wavelengths.
