  1. He's not talking to the consumers. He's talking to private enterprise. He's trying to make them realize they're about to miss the business opportunity of an entire industry by clinging to fossile fuels. He's not talking about what's out on the market, he's talking about the possibilities of modern technology. He gave a few examples of actual commercial electric vehicles just to alert them that it's going on as we speak. They're being overrun.
