  3.  @baneverything5580  Thanks for the detailed answer. Solar panels is just one source of energy though. Geothermal, hydropower, nuclear, etc. The investment cost is obviously high, but oil price also inevitably rises.

  4. ​ @sdrc92126  Earth absorbs about 122 PW from the sun. Global energy consumption is around 20 TW (yearly average). So we currently consume about 0.016 % of sun energy absorbed by earth. So we don't need to take energy stored in earth crust to fulfill our needs. It's just much easier.
