  1. Regarding the Obama-Oil skit. I recently listened to an Iraqi professor who argued that the Iraq war was not really about oil, it was about setting an example that would end the Westphalian world order, i.e. that each state has exclusive sovereignty over its territory. It was meant to demonstrate that USA (and UK) are sometimes justified to directly intervene in other states and reengineer their system.
