  1. A colleague of mine claimed that I need to take vitamin D in the form of oil capsules, and that cheap chewing pills are "useless". Sitting now at home doing "internet research" I cannot find any support for his claim. The cheap pills I'm having specify "cholecalciferol" which seems to correspond to vitamin D3: the substance produced in the skin upon UV exposure. Any idea if there's anything to what he's saying?
