Happy to hear "excess deaths" being recommended as a measure of covid's impact. That was my first impulse in 2020 to check whether it was real or mass hysteria. I quickly discovered that deaths (in Sweden) were way over projections from recent years and correlated well with number of confirmed covid cases. After that, all discussions about potential over-attribution of covid as cause of death seemed secondary.

@LumocolorARTnr1319 I know, I did this in 2020. I looked at curve of weekly deaths compared to last 5 years. It went way up during spring, coinciding with rise in reported covid cases.
