I like Andrei's openness.

"9/11! I don't want to be blamed for the next one!" Was anyone blamed for the first one though? Did anyone get in trouble for that?
30
This was really enlightening. Great to hear the perspective of an insider.
25
So refreshing with such an unapologetic free thinking Swede.
15
I like the idea, but how can we be sure that the rhetoric about multipolarity isn't just a springboard for other powers to try and replace U.S. as the dominant power?
8
A shame his speech is a bit inaudible.
6
I want people to speak their mind, even if they are wrong. All I ask is that they worry about being so. Thanks Pascal.
5
So gold is attractive ahead of a looming financial crisis, because it is not subject to inflation the way cash is. Correct?
5
Some really interesting points made by Wray. He puts things very clear and simple.
4
Amazing how similar the story is in Sweden. Sudden Russophobia, NATO membership and DCA agreement without any discussion. There is opposition, but their voices are not heard in media.
4
I got dumber listening to Biden's the state of the union address.
4
Kul att se att det finns landsmän med vettet i behåll och som bryr sig.

A source of instability in conflicts is that ones own suffering tends to feel worse than that of an opponent. Consequently, what may seem proportional by the retaliator, often seems like an escalation by the receiver, provoking further retaliation and escalation. The only way to deescalate is to forgive.
3
It's so inspiring to hear a strong unapologetic champion for peace and justice like Clare.
3
I think there is will to do its own thing, but no courage.
3
Extremely interesting and (I think) important discussion.
3
Nah, I don't think it's racism, they're just very committed to reshaping the middle east to their own liking through their local ally Israel.
3
"Agressively neutral" Laughable.
3
Let me guess: there is also a push in Philippines for digital identity and digital wallet ? This was rushed through in Ukraine and is now being implemented in Scandinavia. A cynic would assume that the purpose is to control the narrative, assuring there is a steady supply of young motivated soldiers.

I'm not so confident Trump and Putin are "deciding". I think they engage in dialogue and will work out a proposal, then they will involve and negotiate with EU.
2
Regarding the peaceful non-agression thinking of the Chinese, didn't people once say this about USA? It seems to me that once a power finds itself dominant, intentionally or not, its perspective tends to become corrupted by forces who want to use its dominance.
2
Say what you want about Turkey's demands, but as a Swede opposed to NATO membership, it is a godsend.
2
@johnsmith1474 That was not accountability for intelligence failure, but simply poor decision making.
2
21:08 Turning the world gay, one bomb at a time.
2
Given that CIA answers primarily to the president, I would like to here his view on the president using CIA to assure a second term, pave way for a desired successor, or sabotage the campaign of a political opponent.
2
Sachs: This was and remains a preventable tragedy. Let's grow up, pick up the phone and end the slaughter. Gärtner: Yes, but Putin miscalculated, didn't he? He failed his objectives. Sachs: Face-Palm
2
@BenBlount-q1p Sure we can.
2
@BenBlount-q1p Good! If other people are also afraid of nuclear war, then I have less to worry about.
2
@hexxan007 A referendum must be preceded by thorough public discourse, which could turn the fear-based opinion unfavorably against NATO. Better to rush it through before opinion changes.
2
Very interesting! I hope there are more interviews with Hussain Askary out there.
2
"Taken territories become Russian" I note this is the last point in the list. Hopefully this means it is where Russia is most willing to negotiate.
1
I believe RFK Jr will attack corruption if given a chance, but it is possible that the scope is limited to food, health, medicin and environment. Since he joined Trump, it seems he stopped speaking against the military industrial complex.
1
How much has donations to Ukraine for resistance against Russia caused inflation in prices of weapons and ammunitions? As Europe agitates Russia while emptying their stocks, they are now in a really poor position to negotiate prices on arms purchases.
1
Russia comes to the table with physical evidence. France, UK, comes to the table with sweeping assertions, propaganda phrases, and emotional manipulation. Wake up Europe!
1
Escalation is assumed wise until proven otherwise.
1
"If other nations and cultures exist, then our security at home, here, depends on respect for their existance." This. So important.
1
NATO sticking to its stupid decisions may make them look like clowns, but at least they get to be powerful clowns.
1
Regarding signing a treaty with Russia promising not to attack, only defend... How would this in any way comfort Russia. NATO is already arguing that it is exclusively a defensive alliance. Such treaty would have to be accompanied by something more concrete, such as rejection of all offensive weaponry and allowing Russia to verify this.
1
Because people have been conditioned, by legacy media, to fear anything that hasn't been filtered by them, and to hate people who defy their narrative.
1
EU needs MORE CLARE DALYs!
1
What guarantees can they give Russia that Ukraine won't use the ceasefire to muster forces for continued war... AGAIN?
1
Regarding the need for leaders getting togeather for hamburgers and beer, I missed a discussion regarding the prevalent suspicion that foreign leaders would use such occasions for strategic manipulation. Trump essentially did this and was portrayed as naive and manipulable.
1
Graham Majin characterized journalists being against the Vietnam war to be boomers rebelling against the victorians. Would Graham Majin include Noam Chomsky in this bunch? Having listened to Noam's debates on Vietnam he comes off as the victorian and the advocates of the war come off as Zealous boomers.
1
Sounds like ghost writing.
1
@vasilispatsalidis5683 How about WW3? How about nuclear holocaust?
1
@georgewilder7423 You can't argue with U.S. military dominance. I'm sorry. And you're confusing value with rate of change.
1
@adbogo ?
1
I think Graham's way of thinking resonate well with the stated vision for "X". Would be great to see him getting his hands dirty and help setting up the next generation sense-making apparatus.
1
We have to maintain dominance so that we can use it to maintain dominance.
1
I think the reason Sweden's population wants to join NATO right now is because they have never been as effectively propagandized.
