  1. It bothers me that he claims natural rights were "discovered". Certainly rights are conceived/invented and then upheld socially.

  3. ​ @StrategicWealthLLC  In my opinion, rights are no more than a set of principles which were invented by men who sought for a more preferred way to organize society. The rest is just about the rhetoric they used in order to effectively establish their principles. There are certainly benefits to elevating "rights" to something that is independent of and more fundamental than governments, yes, but this does not make them so.
