  1. This is silly. The last thing that's needed is the president showing up to make a rehearsed speech. What's needed is revised regulation of safety of transport of chemicals, accountability for companies handling them, a less corrupt media apparatus that doesn't withhold or downplay crucial information about an immediate danger to health and environment, etc. I expect Biden to take action to solve these problems, not to perform some symbolic gesture of sympathy.
