  1. The recent Israel-Palestine conflict gives me hope... ...in that the western world fails to act in complete unison. Maybe the west isn't completely controlled by a handful of people after all, or at least they're not all in agreement.

  2. Hamas is horrible, yes, but there is plenty of evidence Israel is engaged in an attempt at ethnic cleansing. How Dave deals with this fact will be a test of character. Will he surround with circle jerk, or will he reach across the isle and have conversations? So far it looks pretty bad.
