Well done DW news! This is journalism.

At face value, this seems like a step in the right direction. I want to know more details though.
57
"Why are they holding these peace talks on world economic forum in Davos?" Isn't that self-explanatory? They are talking about how the profits of certain corporations can be assured as part of the peace deal.
53
Let's adress the elephant in the room: West is afraid of losing their grip on African resources.
47
There definitely was plenty of sexual violence, we just need to find the evidence, which is definitely there for us to find, because we know it happened.
42
Must be super interesting for NK to see what the world is like outside.
41
If you want to solve the wage gap: study STEM and work hard.
41
Uranium.
36
When did sanctions become acceptable form of international politics? It's collective punishment of ordinary people.
26
Poland should not necessarily be closer to EU. Let Poland be Poland and collaborate where interests overlap.
25
I bet they thought they were ordinary civilians. What a blunder.
20
It seems Ukraine's independence depends on foreign aid.
17
Half a million dead in order to dunk on Putin? You are a psychopath.
14
I can assure you that the Portugese are not shocked about wild fires. I have a Portugese colleague. Wildfires has been a thing in Portugal every summer as far as he can remember.
14
Is that worse than using weapons as weapons?
13
Dear DW News. Stop telling me how to feel about world events.
12
Let's have a referendum in each of the 93 member states to see how well supported the UN Sustainability goals are by ordinary people. If these referendums turn out in support of the goals, it would give the cause a lot more legitimacy and dispel the suspicion that it is merely a project cooked up by an elite. I think this would help realize the goals.
12
I think them holding a security conference means they are worried.
12
Finland is a sovereign country, meaning it is responsible for its own actions.
11
Gavrill Xanthopoulos, 2007, Institute of Mediterranean Forest Ecosystems, Athens: "Whereas we had more small wildfires in the past, we recently have fewer but larger blowups where our capacity is exceeded. This reflects a shift in strategy from prevention to suppression, i.e. buying trucks and airplanes rather than responsible management of forested areas. The problem with suppression is that the success of one year carries over increased risk to the next due to build-up of fuel for the fire."
10
100-200 kilotons of unexploded bombs! Germany certainly has a history.
10
Support for Ukraine, until the end, of the world.
9
Host: Please tell the viewers that Putin certainly did this.
8
What does it mean to be populist in a democracy? Sounds like a winner.
8
Loaded question. How reliably can we say that this summer's wildfires reflect a trend rather than being an outlier?
7
Once again, the burden of change is shifted onto the shoulders of consumers. They adjust their habits slightly, feeling like they're changing the world by doing their part. Meanwhile business continues as usual. This is an EU problem, not a Romanian problem.
7
2016 was a close call, but it seems we can't avoid Hillary.
7
"How will I feed my four wives ?" Dude, maybe share the burden a little?
7
Who are the people trying to get to Finland? I'd like to know more about them.
6
Who could have guessed that Germany's choice to rely heavily on Russian gas would become a problem?
6
Greece has been in deep economic crisis since 2008 and have implemented austerity measures in accordance with IMF conditions. I wonder how much this affected their preparedness for fighting wildfires, and whether this has been taken account before attributing them to global warming.
6
Arab spring. Yaaaay! African spring. Sanctions!
5
@naimkozi3767 First step would be to listen.
5
@thegarfield2414 Alright, hence war.
5
Europe had a few decades of peace. Now we're marching willingly for WW3, under the sound of our own cheers. We forget so fast.
5
ericandrews1661 Worked for my female colleagues.
5
Sweden here. More snow than usual this year. Very inconvenient. I ended up 15 min late for work. We are doomed.
5
Putin bad, Putin weak, Putin dictator, Putin unpopular. Got it. Now I'm well informed what the conference was about.
4
@hoang1730 Gladly! What's the point of owning a house when the world is ending?
4
While weapons manufacturers are working very hard to produce top quality weapon systems, news media is working even harder to manufacture consent for buying them. It's disturbing to watch smiling reporters talk about killing machines with a jolly timbre on their voice.
4
Denmark has multiple times proven to be one of the most sober democracies in Europe. I trust they will do the right thing again. I hope Sweden does too.
4
Europe decided that their most fertile farmland is better used for geopolitical standoff. In the process Europe also made enemy with world's main supplier of nitrogen fertilizer. One would suspect that this may contribute to rising food prizes, but let's focus our attention on climate change.
4
Oh Elon made your advertisers upset? Well there we go. Unsubscribed.
4
This is nothing new. Finland has always been conservative when it comes to immigration.
3
Let me guess, the answer is to transfer farmland ownership from small independent farmers to a certain giant multinational corporation who promises it can totally prevent crises.
3
I'm starting to think the goal isn't to drain Russia but to drain Europe.
3
What does victory look like?
3
This video even made the case that water scarcity will increase due to rise of demand driven by expansion of farming in dry regions. Sounds strange to try to solve that by focusing on CO2.
3
@SkyDiver-wd5oj RFK Jr explained recently that the fact that aid is provided in the form of loans, it allows the lender to impose conditions on the country. This has allowed them to privatize and transfer natural resources from Ukraine to a small set of America-based corporations, under the pretense of "aid".
3
@jps0117 Sounds like pretty much every politician ever.
