  1. It's hard to be a responsible citizen when you are misinformed. Greek politicians were dishonest about the condition of the economy to maintain a good face to investors. They reported false numbers on their dept to be able to lend more money from EU. It was when this bubble burst and the real state of the economy was revealed that all investors retracted their money and the economy collapsed.
