According to 2010 data on the OECD (34 countries), US healthcare spending per capita is the HIGHEST, while lagging BEHIND AVERAGE in number of physicians, hospital beds, doctor consultations, length of hospital stay, and life expectancy. In comparison, Canada spends a little more than half per capita on healthcare, and performs equally good or better in all mentioned statistics. One thing US do excel in though is MRI and CT scanners per capita... well behind Japan of course. Efficiency...?

  3. Well it seemed like he was critizising universal health care, and since USA is the only country lacking that I assumed he was american. Apparently he's from Israel, which has universal health care.
