Wow, Kim didn't hold back on this one. Well summarized.

You know what promotes childbearing? A stable household economy and a predictable positive future.

Kim should watch the recent PBD interview with Trump. He adresses explicitly the fact that he hired a lot of "bad people".
43
You're breaking my heart. But thanks Kim and Derrick for keeping us informed.
43
Excellent breakdown by Kim. Can't agree more. One of the major reason corporations need politicians is to circumvent the regulations imposed on them. If there are no regulations, corporations don't need to bribe anyone, because they are free to exploit and inflict harm as they please. Corporations are LESS accountable and LESS transparent than governments. On the other hand I have full understanding for the Argentinians wanting to try something new after recent sh1tshow.
40
This is why I keep listening to Kim Iversen. Again and again she proves mental agility and intellectual honesty, in genuine pursuit of truth. I've been fooled too many times by politicians to trust their words. It's not enough to elect people, we need to keep monitoring their actions and hold them accountable.
34
Sympathy is understanding feelings of others. Empathy is sharing them.
19
From war on terror, to war by terror.
13
This is simply how he talks. I listened to numerous other talks of him from years ago. They all sound the same: "you know", "you know", "you know".
13
"To the best of my knowledge..." ...lies incoming!
11
How does WEF regain trust? Transparency, Accountability, Empowerment of Individuals, Respect for Human rights, Respect for Privacy, Respect for Free speech, Independent free Media, etc.
8
Words and sharing is one thing, action another. Let's wait and see.
8
Who would have thought that prohibiting food imports would lead to starvation.
7
@fainitesbarley2245 Afghanistan invasion invoked NATO article 5. Another aspect to consider is the use of NATO infrastructure and resources outside of official NATO missions.
6
@itsamemuffins True, but it could be a way to get him to open up. Nothing softens Trump's heart like blatant flattery.
5
As Noam Chomsky put it when interviewed by Andrew Marr: "You are not self-censoring and I'm sure you believe everything you say, but what I'm saying is that if you believed anything different you wouldn't be sitting here today." Political influence can be exerted in subtle ways. Rather than paying journalists and reporters to propagate a certain narrative, they selectively support those who genuinely already do. That way the financial support seems unconditional to those who enjoy it. Kim Iversen shows deep integrity rejecting support from sources she suspects may have political motives. She has my full respect.
5
Taking back territory that was generously given away? Hmm, are they talking about Crimea?
5
Invasion of Afghanistan was mobilized using NATO Article 5. Iraq was not. It was invaded by "the coalition of the willing". I'm sure NATO was involved somehow, but I'm not sure how.
4
@ELLISRUGER8 Biden? ;)
4
I think "the new world order" essentially refers to the US-led unipolar system set up after the fall of USSR.
3
@bolo2393 I think that would be the inevitable consequence of implementation of said principles.
3
Thank you Kim for continuing to be a beacon of reason in these confusing times of information warfare.
3
"We must uphold the rules based order" Israel violating all kinds of rules. [Crickets]
3
Actually a good question. They've been fishing for war with Iran before. Why not now? Have they finally decided to focus fully on China?
3
Israel clearly has the balls of some really importan US people in a hydraulic press. There has to be blackmail involved.
3
He's just mocking the propaganda that tells us Kamala is amazing.
3
This is why I love Kim Iversen: listens to others and seriously consider their perspective.
3
If your response is in line with what terrorists hoped to provoke, is it really a wise thing to do?
2
And by "your money" rebuilding Ukraine he mean funneling more European and American tax revenue towards America-based multinational corporations.
2
Elon must understand he has to pay money under the table, as everybody else.
2
Why isn't China using antigravity on their space rockets? That would save them a lot of money.
2
So the west rules Africa by coersion and China rules Africa by attractive deals.
2
How many jews have been killed in US due to hate crime since October 7? Is it over a 10? No?
2
He's probably a good method actor but there simply wasn't enough time to starve himself for this role.
2
Excellent summary by Sachs.
2
I relate so much to Kim's emotional rollercoaster.
2
Ukraine wants WW3 to have begun, because they fear "aid" will stop.
2
Libertarians argue that if there wasn't a government, corporations would have no government to corrupt. My counter argument is: without a government, they don't even need to.
2
RFK breaks my heart.
1
Funny that Jim mentioned the treasures in Venice stolen during the sack of Constantinople by catholic crusaders. I listened to a long lecture about that yesterday. Truly a despicable story which remains a strong source of tension between catholic and orthodox Christians.
1
Empathy relies on modeling other people's thoughts and feelings accurately, which in turn requires listening and openness. Without accurate modeling of others we empathise with fantasies.
1
I don't like Trump. RFK Jr and Tulsi are who give me hope.
1
I wanna see Bernie in onesie and mittens!
1
Words are cheap. Sharing words of others is cheaper.
1
What was the criticism against tarrifs at the time it was abolished? This would dramatically change the incentive of federal government.
1
There's truth to some of what Jeff says, but I think he exaggerates and generalizes too much. If there's a grand conspiracy to depopulate earth, it is not successful, because population has skyrocketed and is still rising. At best they are trying to dampen the population rise or manage its consequences.
1
I've been suspicious about "they", settling with confluence of interest among elites. I'm not so sure anymore though. It all seems so coordinated.
1
Nothing new, same arguments: Jews are benevolent victims, Hamas are barbarians, therefore let's not call the massacre and displacement of Palestinians genocide.
1
@Powernab Good point, why do you think that is?
1
Did more people die from Covid19 in poor countries due to inequity of vaccine distribution? No? Then what is he talking about? He's talking about how to distribute profits from vaccine sales.
1
Thanks for contextualizing this. I listened to the Snowden part raw and was shocked by her 180. Good to know Snowden wanted her to deny past support.
1
What kind of instrument does Israel have around America's balls? Must be very tight and sharp.
1
Elisabeth Warren is not worried about RFK hurting children. She worried about losing support from her pharma donors.
1
Yeah and back at Wikileaks empowering whistleblowers.
1
A GoT quote comes to mind: "Chaos isn't a pit, chaos is a ladder."
1
This video should be called "Kim Iversen reacts to Chinese promo".
1
Well, we'll see if he is welcome back.
1
The only flaw in Kim's argument is to assume Americans don't have power over other countries. Americans care because they believe that the US can influence the trajectory of the conflict.
1
Does another thousand dead solve the problem of a thousand dead?
1
"When you continue to sow doubt about established science, it makes it possible for us to move forward" Doubting established science is how science move forward.
1
What Claus Schwab needs to understand is that the more lives WEF affects, the more influence WEF exert on people's lives, the more people are actually stakeholders in relation to their decisions. So if he wants regain trust, he better invite ALL the stakeholders to Davos.
1
I'm not sure I dare celebrate just yet.
1
What an inspiring guy!
1
@Johnbg-e5l Criminal or not, he's clearly a driven engineer and inventor.
1
In an essay of Henry Ford he argues that communism is rage against bankers tragically misdirected against industrialists.
1
Google trends indicates that the narrative about "misinformation, disinformation, malinformation" didn't start 2016 when Trump won, but 2020 when Biden won. This indicates to me that this influence campaign is not an initiative of the "deep state", but by the Biden administration.
1
Claus Schwab misunderstands the issue. People are against any influence of governments on their lives. They are against governments having adverse influence on their lives. They are against governments running errands for WEF instead of their constituents. They are against WEF's outspoken mission to replace democracy by "stakeholder capitalism": a system in which governments, corporations and non-government organizations get together to (as we have now experienced) control, exploit and abuse everyone else.
1
They're claiming that free speech and free elections are threats to democracy, and a surprisingly large bunch sees no problem with that.
1
Let's see in ADL's next report how many more jews have died due to hate crime. I would guess not that many.
1
Wait, I thought Ukraine is controlled by Nazis?
1
Wow, Kim was way more receptive to this stuff than I'd thought.
1
US believes in creative destruction.
1
STOCK UP ON TOILET PAPER!
1
Looks like an event staged for optics. Trying desperately to look effective.
1
If Blinken knows the will and vote of the Venezuelan people better than themselves, why even have elections? Just ask Blinken and he'll tell you how Venezuela votes.
1
Oh you want to do something about CP Hillary? Cool, let's start by releasing Epstein's client list, that'd give you some leads to follow up on. Or how about check the phone, computer and search history of Anthony Wiener? Or perhaps you can ask CIA if they are aware of any CP that they use for blackmail or secondary income? Let's start there, then we can perhaps talk about censorship.
