  1. Eratosthenes did not prove earth is round, he estimated its circumference assuming it is spherical. The observation that the sun is directly above one city while at an angle for another is as consistent with a flat earth model as with a round one. I'm not denying earth is round, I'm just pointing out that this particular argument provides zero support for it. She should know better.
