If only someone had warned us of the parallel between US pulling Ukraine towards NATO and Soviet placing ballistic missiles in Cuba. If only someone had foreseen this escalation. CAUGH John Mearsheimer CAUGH

There is more to love about a person than their opinions.

Procrastination is a legitimate strategy in the face of endless to-do. Sometimes you have to make room for the now.

Equity: no one gets anything

In my opinion, it is more patriotic to want your country to be the best it can be than to think your country is already the best. We must hold leaders and institutions to account for their decisions, not blindly cheer them on.

@cisium1184 By "pull" I mean formally stating that Ukraine is welcome to join in 2008 and reaffirming it in 2014, followed by armament, training of troops and participation in international military exercises with formal aim to assure operational compatibility with allies.

Same story as the weather balloons. Stupid media hysteria meant to raise more money for defense. Sad to see Megyn take the bait, again.

"Lack of leverage in the negotiotion" The Trump administration has just shown that it uses negotiation as distraction while carrying out surprise military strikes. Why would Iran want to try that again?

I can't help but indulge in a fair bit of schadenfreude right now.

That's some Game of Thrones stuff.

Last time Trump won, I thought they'd learned a lesson, but then they doubled down. Will they learn the second time? Probably not. They'll double down again. More demonization. More lawfare. More censorship.

I think the disproportionate focus on Israel relates to the fact that they are a longstanding ally of USA, enjoying substantial military and economic support. For this reason people feel that Israel is associate with the west and should be held accountable to our standards.

"Thanks for all the support, but Hitler won fair and square. Respect the democratic process and assist the dictator in the transfer of power." This isn't like them. I wonder what chenanigans democrats have planned.

Self-inflicted danger.

Democrats failed themselves and lost severely as a consequence. Why are we still talking about this?

Let's put this in perspective. Last year ADL reported a total of 1 antisemitic incident resulting in death. The idea that US is suddenly flooded with antisemites celebrating the slaughter of jews seems like hysteria to me.

I don't know about this woman. She seems to rely more on emotional arguments than science, "Rockerfeller", "Industrial lubricant", "See how nasty the refining process looks", "It may be polluted and oxidized because of clear plastic". There's no need to speculate about the content and nature of the oils, just buy a bunch of bottles and analyze the content! There's also science out there to read.

1:00 Kanye in full burqa. How sure are we he is not the one oppressed?

An argument against "if you don't like it here, you should get out" is that people may criticize their government because they love their country and want to make it better.

Trump will be a dictator on day 1. Yet after losing, Kamala asked her voters to be calm and respect the democratic process. So what is it, is he a dictator or a democratically elected president? How people live with these contradictions I can't understand.
