  1. I feel like a lot of Jordan's arguments during this interview boils down to "don't try to solve complicated problems because you can not predict the outcome". Seems like a very conservative mindset. You can't base the future solely on the past! You have to try new things! That's how the historical data was generated in the first place. History should be used to avoid repeating mistakes, not to constrain our search for solutions to those that worked in the past.
