  2. I can relate to the fear of not having a firm point of reference, but it is very strange to call this unnatural. We've known for a long time that everything in nature is relative. The search for a fixed medium to house all matter came to an end once we learned that the speed of light in vacuum is constant relative to all observers. Mass, velocity, momentum and the passage of time is all in the eye of the beholder. You may feel that you're firmly grounded in your chair, but you're also orbiting earth once a day, which orbits the sun once a year, which orbits the center of the galaxy, which fumbles around the Virgo Supercluster, which is ripped apart by dark energy.
