  3. I’m not happy she died and I did NOT want her to die. But just because someone dies does not mean I will honor their legacy. I won’t bad mouth her, I don’t believe it’s right to be bad mouth anyone, but I won’t honor a legacy that goes against everything I believe (The Bible). I’m sorry she died tho, I hope someone was able to share the gospel with her, if she never repented and trusted in Christ... then unfortunately she’s in hell. I don’t say that to be mean, as a warning to everyone tho, republican or Democrat, regardless of sex, ethnicity, religion, or age. There is one God only, whether you believe in Him or not, Jesus will be the one to judge us and if you don’t repent and put your faith in His death, burial, and resurrection... then you will be rejected by Him. What is it worth to gain the whole world, but lose your soul?

  6. No, the child was not forced on this ride. A child's safety is the parents fault, I would NEVER allow my child on that and many other rides. Accidents happen, but this was avoidable if they wouldn't have let him ride the coaster. Roller coasters are dangerous in nature, that's why people ride them, the speed, height, turns, and just rush of being tossed through the sky... but if you or anyone else dies on a roller coaster, make no mistake, that's your fault for going on it. I've never been on a roller coaster for that reason.

You should grab a group of 5-8 developers that code in various stacks/languages relevant to the videos you make (front end, back end, full stack, react, JQuery, Python, etc). Either give them a structure concerning what programming topics you want to make a video about or give them free range to come up with their own. Once a week meet with them on zoom and have them pitch you what they came up with. After the meeting you can decide for yourself if any of them were worth it or not. I think that could help get your view count back up

People need to take responsibility for their actions. In the world of entertainment everyone wants to do everything and if something goes wrong the finger gets pointed at the manufacturer. We’ve all had close calls, I’ve had several. I’m not condemning the parents and trying to make them feel like crap, but I’m not going to let people be lazy and irresponsible. If YOU allow your child to go on something dangerous and they die then that’s on YOU. Thousands of kids aren’t allowed to go on roller coasters, are those parents stupid? No, they’re being very protective. The parents who let their kids ride these things are literally waiving their child’s risk of death away so he can ride on it. Legally and logically, they KNOWINGLY allowed this! It’s time this baby culture starts holding themselves accountable instead of crying and pointing fingers.

So many tutorial youtubers out there, your advice/opinion on development topics is your niche. I based how to prepare for my job hunt off of your advice videos, I did your interview prep course, I even based what laptop I’d use off of your opinion of the Mac being superior for web dev. I don’t follow all your advice bc we all want different things (*cough* Ukraine), but I always weigh what you say in comparison with facts or other great advisors like Stefan Mischook or Ben Awad and you almost are always way ahead of everyone and the most helpful. Never stop making your courses or giving us these advice videos, because you’re the best at both!

  43. Hey, I’m only commenting because I’m a fan of your content and want to see you surpass the other programming youtubers. As someone who knows Python and JavaScript and has only created linked lists in C++ (which I think makes me pretty biased), I think JavaScript better to use when instructing. You can write JavaScript and clearly translate it to C++, Java, etc. However, Python is much more unique in its syntax. I think you’ll be able to hit a larger audience with JavaScript because it’s more relatable to other languages than Python is. Also, from what I’ve seen, your audience seems to be largely web devs (I could be wrong!), so it seems like JS is the most practical.

  45. I attended one of those bootcamps for web development, Jake they have become corrupt. They say they will grant you "tuition reimbursement" if you don't get a job after 6 months, won't they don't tell you is they provide a ridiculous list of items that you must do to "maintain" your eligibility (respond to every email within 24 hours, even on weekends). But that's only if you can afford to pay the bootcamp monthly (like I was), if you're not as fortunate, they say "you can enroll for free, we'll even give you monthly stipends", the catch is they make you sign a contract that once you get a job over $40k then you will start paying them like 20% of your income yearly till you've paid like $35k. But that's not all, these bootcamps can't wait that long to cash in, so they sell their contracts to banks for half the cost ($17k). What does this mean Jake? If the bootcamp is selling your contract to a bank and automatically gets paid $17k from the bank, whether you get a job in the industry or not means nothing to them, because they already got paid.

  76. Damon S no, I’m not. I’m not endorsing any parties or ideologies. However, I think you’re surviving just fine during this stay at home period, as am I, but not everyone is. The lower income Americans are being hurt, they don’t have money in their savings and we can’t rely on the Feds to be our mommy and daddy because they only have so much till they go into debt (or grow it in our case). We’re spending too much and not making hardly anything. It’s not just about our economy, what about the people who need their jobs? I know staying at home is nice and it’s cool to make decisions off of what we “feel” is best. In most cases, there’s no answer that will satisfy everyone, we either keep digging ourselves into a hole that we can’t get out of or we start to climb out, it won’t be pretty but it must be done. Funny how you care so much about humans dying tho, yet you support abortion... the most innocent and helpless human life form, no problem killing them

I understand much about the Catholic Church and the protestant reformation... I was giving a broad overview, you're assesment of how Catholicism view the Pope is correct and I see why you saw error in my comment; however, from a Biblical perspective they do put the pope in the place of Jesus. The Bible teaches it is Jesus and Jesus alone that forgives us of our sins, He is the mediator between man and the Father. Catholicism believes that we need to confess our sins to a man (catholic priest) and that priest indeed forgives us of our sins on behalf of God. That is one of the ways I meant, of how the pope is put in the place of Jesus. Now, to you, you should watch a Ray Comfort video. I'm not going to debate you, I just don't see it as fruitful, but you should watch Ray Comfort, he debates atheists, but watch his witnessing videos.
