  7. I used to go into Seattle weekly. Now I only go into Seattle for the Mariners, or for the Seattle Art Museum. Downtown is now overrun with drunks and druggies. That Starbucks was my favorite one.

  12. These Seattle politicians are full blown Marxists, they are not Democrats. Kshama Sawant who is a member of the Seattle City Counsil is a member of the Socialist Alternative party, which describes itself as a Marxist organization, and a revolutionary party fighting for a socialist world.

  13. Live in Kirkland, new houses are selling for $1.2M now. Used to live in a condo. The problem was the wives would force their husbands into voting for such things as painting the basement's concrete floor with epoxy paint. I told them that that would be a big mistake. They said it make the concrete floor would look nicer. After the floor was painted owners where then complaining about how slippery the floor was when it got wet. After the paint started to wear they complained how bad the floor looked.

  50. I last shopped at Nordies about 25 years ago when I bought a pair of Rockport shoes in my standard 12D size. After a month they were still very uncomfortable to wear. I went to the Bellevue Square store and asked for a refund or the next larger size shoe. I talked with the shoe department manager and he said that they would not do either option. Their reputation for customer service is so much BS. I wrote off Nordstroms at that point in time and have never been back.
