  1. My wife is Japanese. 30 years ago my father in law suggested at dinner that my younger, single brother in law should perhaps marry an American woman. I quickly and strongly told him that that was a very bad idea and that his son marrying an American woman was a very bad idea. This was 30 years ago. The wife’s brother is a coder and a bodybuilder. He later married an older, frumpy mouse of a woman who hardly says anything when we are together.
