@bobikCZ I have a hunch if NATO gets to roll over it, there isn't much to be seen of Moscow anymore. It's more "let's go visit the crater that once was a town".

Depends on what their target is. You don't load and shoot the whole battery if you only have a limited area to cover.

Russia should consider itself lucky if Crimea is the only land they stole that they need to return after the war.

Because you don't want to drive around needlessly with live rockets in the barrels, and if they only need to shoot a limited amount (because area saturation is already reached, if they have to shoot at a small area or target something like a specific building), they don't want to use more rockets than necessary. Not only does it waste ammo, it also gives the enemy a better idea where you are and more time to shoot back.
