  1. Not really. Soviet Russia lost about 15000 soldiers in the Afghan war. If Russia loses 15,000 people, in this war here that would be a slow week.

  3. NATO cannot enter the fight unless Russia attacks them. NATO is a defensive alliance, it cannot attack.

Nobody gives a hoot about Bakhmut except Putin because he made that ridiculous statement that it's somehow important and he needs that propaganda victory direly... and he won't even get it because taking a pile of rubble after almost half a year of fighting is not a propaganda coup, it's an embarrassment.

  6.  @whitesnow7643  By preparing for that war for a long time while the West didn't. It's a bit like Germany in WW2. They, too, first got ahead because they had preparations in place for the war and their opponents didn't. But eventually the production power of the allies crushed them. Same here. Takes a year or two to get going.
