@Chrisjude100 Underrated? He was the bearer of the Iffland Ring, the highest possible and most prestigious decoration for a German actor, basically saying he is THE BEST German actor alive (there is only one ring and the bearer is supposed to let it in his will to whoever he considers the most worthy successor, so ... basically it means that THE BEST actor thinks you're a worthy successor to him). Yes, he was not a movie actor, but he was a celebrated and very much acclaimed actor on the stage.
