  12.  @NyxSilver8  Atheism makes no claim. All atheism does is reject the claim of the existence of deities. Nothing more, nothing less. If there was nobody claiming there are gods, there would be no reason to even do so. I also reject the idea that there are leprechauns, unicorns or elves, but you don't hear many people talk about aleprechaunists, aunicornists or aelvists. For the simple reason that there are no people who claim that they exist.

  17. It's more that people who debunk bullshit usually rise the ire of bullshit peddlers because they fear that if people see that what they sell is bullshit, they might not buy it. What the bullshit peddlers don't understand is that their victims are not going to believe what people who actually know something tell them anyway. They'd rather be conned than admit that "scientism" can be right.
