Here's your title: "There will be no economic boom after the pandemic". Okay, I thought; make your case. Then in your very first sentence you instead erect a straw man and proceed to demolish him. But WWll appears nowhere in your title. The truth of the matter is that there will probably be a boom because of pent-up savings; Americans like to spend money & haven't had an opportunity to go to a restaurant, a theatre, a stadium or a mall (safely) for over a year... plus there's the whole "Helicopter Ben" thing; the government has been throwing large amounts of money at the public, quite literally... so there will be a boom, probably. It's that simple. Just don't muck it up with extraneous comparisons to any other time, place or event.
