So... if I have a loud commercial exhaust fan on my apt. roof (several feet above my head) that often makes sleep impossible, I should block my closed windows with an array of towels?  What range of frequencies comprise an exhaust fan's aural attack, anyway?    Blankets on the walls and ceiling too?  And if it's low frequencies that comprises this massive aural attack profile, then what?
