No; call LYING: LYING; a LIE is a LIE... but don't put it in a word with "information", because information is about things that are TRUE, whereas the president lies endlessly; if his mouth is open, he's lying. Or call it NOISE. Because that's what it is too: "The NOISE the president has disseminated..."
