"I don’t understand why the community would be mad at the families" If thats true its because you obviously dont understand how property value is determined. Im guessing you dont own any property and I didnt really get it until I bought my first property.

@mosuh6944 These people dont want to hear about accountability. Thats bigoted and judging people, as if those are bad things. If a person fears being judged its because they know, deep down, they arent living right.

@waddle623 "They cannot be angry at the families that lost their homes just because they built the house" Really why not? Its the homeowners fault. "They didn't even try to help them afterwards." Neighbors are not going to pay the bills of another neighbor. "It's not that hard to figure it out" That I totally agree with. Whatever happens to a house is the owners responsibility.

Everyone judges everyone they see the second they see them. Then we keep altering that judgement as we acquire new information. Theres nothing wrong with that.

@Benefits Ignorance is no excuse, especially with anything legal. Real estate its own little universe and most people get help from professionals, because of the complex nature.

@bradsanders407 So you didnt pay attention to every person at the store, so what? Thats not really what I meant, no one pays attention to every single person. I guarantee you judge every person who walks up to you though. If its a homeless person or a guy in a suit, you judge people just like everyone else.

@waddle623 Its everyones business since it was on tv show. Do you have any examples of neighbors chipping in to stop a house being foreclosed? I just cant ever see that happening.

@mechanomics2649 I know what kind of financial decisions they made too. Bad ones, otherwise they wouldnt have wound up in this position.

@mechanomics2649 I dont buy into the idea that "they had no say in how their property was designed." Thats complete nonsense, no one would agree to that. No one who owns property would allow people to just remodel their house without knowing what it will look like.
