  70.  @kimberlydiaz4234  " but people with high IQ's tend to be driven by logic. " True but many facets of life are illogical. Logic isnt a panacea that applies to every problem. "My daughter's IQ is in the upper 160's and sometimes she thinks too much." Wow over 160 I doubt I ever met anyone even close to that so Im skeptical of that score. Over thinking is a common mistake by intelligent people, I have to actively prevent it in my own life. "She never gets hung up in the blaming when things go wrong. Instead, she goes straight for the solution. In fact, when there is an obvious solution to a problem, she's confused by people who get emotional over whatever the issue is" Unfortunately not every problem has an obvious solution and even if it does it could be difficult to achieve. Also logic isnt the answer to every problem particularly when humans are involved. Thats why smart people usually arent very popular. "This murder would make no sense to someone who is results-driven. It didn't change the healthcare industry. He wasn't denied healthcare - and even if he was, he would recognize that killing the CEO wouldn't get him what he needed. This murder was emotionally driven. Also, when someone takes the time to write a 262 page manifesto by hand, they want their day in court. In fact, that's what the purpose of the murder is - to get the attention where the murderer wants it. He ran and hid." Im skeptical over all of those details it sounds like a setup to me. "I'm not disagreeing with you about gifted people. They tend to be so smart that they make stupid mistakes - kinda like the absent minded professor stereotype. Or, they rely too much on their intelligence and don't think they can make a mistake. While you're correct in your assessment....I think it doesn't apply here." So you believe the media and the police? I dont and thats probably why we are in disagreement.
