  2. Very complicated- proving it would be almost impossible. Even with psychologists could you get the minor to unlearn and recant his/her earlier testimony accurately enough?

  3. Agreed . That would mean a judge making/amending the laws of the country which is clearly an infringement of the duties of the different agencies , in this case that of the legislature.

  5. So you're the expert on grooming and most of our ancestors were criminals as underage marriages were the norm then and their parents were accessories to the fact. If it is proved that someone in your ancestors had indeed married underage would you condemn them or accept it due to extenuating circumstances ? What about the many criminal laws of our country which are criminal by nature and have been drafted by the British who have long before already changed them with the changing times while we cling to them blindly- same sex Intercourse and marriages?

  12. 18 is generally recognized as being generally mature and fit enough to take a sensible decision . If you go only by difference in age does that guarantee maturity and fidelity between the partners ? Can't a sixty year old have sex with a forty-five year old person or does the difference make them morons automatically?
