Almost eight decades after WW 2 Germany is one of the top countries in the world on most parameters, this after being completely razed to the ground. If they have managed to do it inspite of a terrible bureaucracy then they are brilliant. BTW they follow EU specifications which are amongst the most stringent in the world and yet they are the powerhouse of Europe. Disneyland would be held to a higher standard of accounting in Germany than in the USA.

@venkatvenkat7323 You could also point out to the myriads of private airlines and other companies which have gone bankrupt taking thousands of crores of taxpayer's money along with them. What has been the accountability as far as all the private businessmen are concerned who have swindled the country and decamped to foreign pastures, aided and abetted by their devious accountants?

@venkatvenkat7323 So what Brand India were you talking about ? Apart from Indigo all the other airlines have landed in the bin - obviously the airline analogy doesn't work. As far as bankruptcies are concerned how many of the defaulting industrialists have been brought to justice ? Mallya and Co are nowhere near to being apprehended much less doing time. The huge NPAs of the banking industry is due to the loans which have been advanced to these well connected businessmen who are going around scot free. There is absolutely no comparison between private and public companies performance in India because of the systematic policies of the Govt itself and gross corruption and meddling by the politicians. That doesn't guarantee that all is well with the private sector.

@venkatvenkat7323 Papaji keep arguing without your basics - your ADHD is showing. Entire sectors are suffering including construction, auto, banking but you wouldn't know. The only reason foreign companies come to India is because of the abundance of cheap labour and lack of choices . You don't need to do any studies. You started the discussion about private sector without realising the pitfalls. If the airline industry is subject to such uncertainities why do they persist - the spectacular crash of Kfisher and Jet were eyeopeners that showed they were just a bunch of flashy operations that saddled the taxpayers with thousands of crores in debts. Their promoters are enjoying lives of luxury while the employees and vendors are left with outstandings. Talk of good service - they were definitely smooth operators as are countless other businessmen and industrialists who have defaulted but have never been brought to justice. Time for you to go back to KG.
